Common questions
- Why is my feed empty? be here runs on the phones around you. If nobody nearby has the app open, there is nothing to hear yet. Try the demo room (Me tab → demo) to see how it works, or get a friend in the same room to install it.
- How far does it reach? One hop is one direct radio link — tens of meters on Bluetooth, more as radios are added — but every phone relays, so reach scales with the crowd: a packed venue is one network spanning blocks. And posts persist in the phones that heard them, so they travel wherever those people go.
- Do I need an account? No. Your identity is a key created on your phone. There's no password, no email, and nothing to sign up for.
- Can I delete a post? Long-press it and choose delete, and it leaves your feed at once. Copies already carried by other phones cannot be recalled — posts travel by radio and cannot be unsent.
- How do I report or block someone? Long-press any post, message or wall entry, or open the menu on their person page. Report removes it from your feed immediately and composes an email with the signed post attached, which makes the report verifiable. Block stops them being shown or carried by your phone; undo it in the Me tab.
- Something offensive got through. What now? Report it. Reports are read within 24 hours, the content is removed and the identity that sent it is ejected. The address is joey@emailjoey.com.
